I am Male, Asian and 61 yrs old. have a pacemaker implanted 4 yrs ago when I had a very low heart rate of 35 and Medtronics have my pacemaker checked regularly in 6 mths intervals. I started jogging some 4 mths ago and when I had my ECG taken 2 days ago, my heart beat was 59 RESTING. Is that a problem?

59 resting heart rate when working out daily is fine..since you have teh pacemeker in you, get a second opinion from your cardiologist on this.
