I am a Homoeopath. Therefore I need to get more details about your sensations, locations, causations, aggravating and ameliorating conditions etc to suggest a remedy. We do not give antibiotics for infection. We treat the patient and the chest infection will get cured. Get back to me with the details.

How do i stop my son getting viral asthma attacks then chest infections?
Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Asthma is an allergic disorder and virus are pathogen ( causative agent ) .
When child get allergy , it might happen that infection also added ( may be viral , bacterial) .
Only avoidance of allergy from ,mite , dust ,pollen , spray, fumes, smokes, sudden rise & fall of temperature help.
Try to increase the stamina& avoidance helps. Dr. HET
why is there blood in my snot in the morning,is it linked to my chest infection?
The reasons for blood in the nostril is dryness of the mucosa and cracking, infections ,trauma, winters. In your case the most likely reason would be the chest infection after ruling out DNS(deviated nasal septum) which causes drying of the mucosa. What you can try is rehydration with incresing water intake, steam inhelation and saline instillation when needed.
