What Might Cause Soreness In Trachea?

I woke with a sore trachea. It very sensitive to the touch and hurts to swallow. It feels like I was punched in the neck. Doesn t hurt at all around tonsils/throat area. Could this be an infection of some kind. FYI, I have had a slight stomach bug for the last couple of days

As you describe it appears to be the pharyngitis may be secondary to allergy, or viral infection.
I advise you to consult an E.N.T surgeon for diagnosis and treatment.
I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms erythromycin, phenylephrine, citrizine, paracetamol.
