I am 14 years old and have been having regular periods every month for about 3 years. My question is how can I ease the pain of the cramps when I am physically active throughout the day?
Hi Katie
Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
Cramps during periods are common .They are not bearable for some , whereas others can.It is based on your capacity of bearing pain.If they are very severe , it could be dysmenorrhoea , which needs evaluation.
I advise you to visit your Gynecologist and get examined if there is any underlying disease.
Meanwhile you can take an antispasmodic over the counter like Meftal Plus to reduce the cramps.
Take care

if the pain is affecting your activities you can antispasmodics like decolic tablet or meftal spas if cramp associated with excess bleeding
the tablet may be repeated 3 times daily and after meals

Since you're having dysmenorrhoea, it would be best to get examined for any pathology which could cause severe pain by a Gynaecologist. For relief you can take a pain killer cum muscle relaxant drug available over the counter like Meftal Spas for example. Drink plenty of water. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. Exercise well throughout the day.
