Vasectomy are not 100% effective.
If you are strongly suspecting ,you can opt for urine pregnancy test. Two vertical lines on the card confirms pregnancy.
Ultrasound is the choice of investigation as it can pick G-sac earliest.
my husband had a vasectomy nearly 10 yearsago before he met me. we want a reversal but what is the success rate after such a long time? he is 38.
The success rate of vasovasostomy is near to 100% under experienced hands. So you got to choose the right surgeon.
Husband had a vasectomy a month ago and now has a lot of swelling and some pain in his testicles. He did a lot of physical labor over the weekend. Ideas?
Hello and welcome to HCM,
Vasectomy is not associated with pain and swelling in the testicles.
It is not necessary to restrict physical activity after vasectomy as usually believed.
There is some other cause of pain and swelling in the testicles.
take some rest to allow the resolution of pain and swelling.
thanks and take care
