Could swelling in ankle be due to a broken ankle?
My son hurt his ankle at school. He is 9. Said another child stepped on his foot when he was running and he pulled it away and now it s swollen on the outside ball of his ankle. Hurts to the touch and he is not walking on it. No bruising or anything yet. Could it be broken?
