Hi, Your symptoms are suggestive of hormonal imbalance. You would need a complete evaluation including a physical exam by a specialist, hormonal profile, serum DHEAS levels, glucose tolerance test and a trans-vaginal sonogram to study the reproductive organs. If needed, your doctor may ask you to get a laparoscopy done. Polycystic ovarian disease is the most common cause of such a presentation. Please maintain a healthy weight, avoid fatty and oily foods and do some regular daily exercise. Treatment will depend on the specific cause identified and not empirical. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
