Hi.Your uncle might need a echocardiogram to find the function of the valve which was repaired.If he is feeling dizzy it means that though the heart is pumping out blood adequate amount is not reaching the body (especially our brain which makes someone to faint) due to abnormal function.I suggest you to get a follow up with the cardiac surgeon and take his opinion.Hope I have anwered your question
