Stage 4 Congestive Heart Failure.

How long do I have to live? (stage 4 congestive heart failure)? I have been diagnosed with stage 4 congestive heart failure. I am only 31 years old, female, and I have an enlarged heart, with a 25% left ventricle pump. The heart doc I go to is great, but won t tell me how long I have, although, I know, it s bad. Thank you for all the frank answers. I am the kind of person that likes to see things clearly, as they are. Yes, I am tired all the time, and feel like I cannot breath. This has all happened so fast, and regardless of my diagnosis, I will not go down without a fight. I still believe in miracles, and I believe mine is on the way. God works through Doctors too. Thought I should add, I m taking Prinivil, Coreg, and Lasix. I m 125lbs, 5 4.

No one can even attempt to predict for an individual and statistics mean little. Only your doctors with the most detailed information would have an inkling and even then this is not something physicians, quite rightly, like to guess at.
