The dissolvable stitches do get weak and come out on their own after a week or 10 days. Do not try to remove these earlier as that might cause gaping of the wound.

The mark from the stitches will remain and won't completely disappear however it will become lighter as years pass by.
You could try applying kojic acid cream on the marks to lighten them further.
Your other options are laser treatment and plastic surgery
