What Causes Bloody Ear Wax?

I had been on holiday for a month over summer and kept jumping in and out of the pool and a week after I returned home a big ball of brown ear wax fell out of my ear which was blocked, after this I kept cleaning my ear out with a cotton bud because I was scared this would happen again at school but yesterday bloody earwax was on the cotton bud?? Why is this ??

Hi,
It seems that while cleaning ear wax there might be having some minor scratch or injury in the wall of external ear giving rise to bleeding.
Now do not clean the ears for cleaning of wax.
Give some time to heal soreness.
Put some antibiotic ear drops.
Ok and take care.
