Hit my head on the floor now suffering from headache
I am female, 67 years old. I recently fell about 4 months ago and hit my head on the floor really hard. I am having pressure headache , dizziness , and feel really tired and sleepy. Why am I getting these pressure headache, and dizziness.

Hi Emilyjaneparks! I suggest that you proceed to the ER to have it checked. You may have a concussion but I want to be sure that there is no active intracranial bleeding. Report to your attending physician what happened and what you have been feeling. Some imaging studies like a head CT scan may be required to check for the extent of your injuries.
