Placenta posterior upper segmentØ and Grade2 maturity,is it normal?
Hi.Grades I and II (minor) may be able to deliver vaginally;Grades III and IV (major) will require Caesarean section by the most experienced obstetrician. However the management depends on the ultrasound report at 39 weeks because the placenta might move up(it might be grade 1) with time.Nothing to worry. This is assessed to plan -baby has to be delivered normally or by surgery(cesarean section)
I received a report of NT scan & it is as follows.
Fetal movements& cardiac activity normal.
Placenta is anterior & grade 1 in maturity.
No evidence of placenta prevail or retro placental haemorrhage.
