After food sugar is high.you need to give a low
carbohydrate balanced iron rich diet
You should give five small meals rather than three big meals .
Give whole grains and fortified cereals rather than refined easy to digest cereals, starches, juices.Follow the Carbohydrate portion serving size.
Include
proteins like chicken with out skin, egg, fish, beans one in every meal.
Always include a vegetable salad in every meal as fibre delays
glucose absorption .Daily 1-2 servings of fruit and milk intake is safe.
Some of the iron rich sources are red meat, chicken, green leafy vegetables, beans , nuts .
Regular exercise plays a major role in controlling blood sugars.
