Im five months pregnant and have a bad soar throat and a horrible cough with a headache what can i take
Hi and thanks for the query,
In pregnancy , the safest drug to take at this point shall be Amoxicillin. 2.000mg of amoxicillin in 2 doses daily for about 7 days should be enough. It might be necessary to associate a simple pain killer like Actaminophen or paracetamol. Persistence of symptoms of aggravation should prompt consultation of your physician. Kind regards.

It seems like a streptococcal sore throat. You probably need a course of oral antibiotics to get a quick and complete relief.
