Can Cholesterol Be Controllable ?

Hell: recently I am being diagonosis of high cholesterol? I started to eat 0 fat and 0 cholesterol food. I started exercise too. I eat only vegetable, rice (litle aount), fruits and 0 fat foods. Is it possible to control cholesterol? up what percentage might go down, roughly, if you have an idea? Please give an advise to follow a good way to do that. I am a student and age 38. Thanks AH

You don't have to eat 0 fat foods. Here's a tip, go on a Mediterranean diet. Nuts, Veggies, Olive oil, chicken....my Cholesterol dropped like crazy (from 220 total to 148). Also...exercise....I work out 4-6 days a week. Bike, walk, cross train, whatever you like - just move.
