What would be considered a normal range when testing glucoselevelsafter a meal?
Dear Sir, Hi! normal blood glucoseafter 1.5- 2hours meal - Less than 140 mg/dl
140 - 200 mg/dl is pre diabetes. > 200 mg/dl is diabetes.
Breakfast glucose is 98 and posr pardinal glucose is 141. Does it mean i am suffering from diabetes? Also have high lipid profile ratio.
criteria for diabetes diagnosis are should meet one below
1 fasting plasma glucose>126 mg/dl
22hour post meal plasma glucoselevel >200 mg/dl
3 random plasma glucose > 200 mg/dl
you does not fit in to criteria
your levels are in control
Im 27 and took a glucose test and it read 149 then i took it a second time and it read 119 is that normal?
149 is a bit high if you took it in the morning, without eating. 119 is normal.
I'd sugesst to take a glucose test 8h without eating and two hoursafter meals.
