HI. You need to consult an ENT surgeon to get an examination done for a clinical diagnosis and get a prescription based treatment to get over this.
Till then take paracetamol 3 time a day, liquid diet , plenty of oral fluids, bed rest.

Thanks for your query. It seems to be a nodule arising from thyroid gland. Usually, it is associated with overactive thyroid gland. Get her Thyroid hormone profile and an ultrasound of thyroid gland done to confirm hyperactive thyroid gland. If it is indeed, overactive, she will require treatment for it.
