Tonsil Stones, White Spot. How To Get Rid Of Stones?

I have what they call tonsil stones that have been occurring quite frequently. I do not have any other symptoms but the white spot on my tonsil. It has come and gone twice in the last two weeks and only occur one other time before three to four months ago. I want to know how to get rid of and try to avoid future ones? I did see the doctor in the last two weeks, but I had swallowed the stone by then I believe?

Welcome to HCM.
Tonsil stones, or called tonsilloliths, are formed when trapped debris hardens, or calcifies. This tends to happen most often in people who have chronic inflammation in their tonsils or repeated bouts of tonsillitis.
You can dislodge tonsil stones at home with the use of picks or swabs.
Gargling with warm, salty water may help ease the discomfort of tonsillitis, which often accompanies tonsil stones.
Complete course of proper antibiotic will be helpful to prevent recurrent tonsillitis. Nsaid to subside pain, inflammation.
When tonsil stones are exceedingly large and symptomatic, it may be necessary for a surgeon to remove them.
Consult ent specialist for better guidance and medical management.
