What does Indeterminate white matter disease mean? Can be seen in small vessel ischemich changes in a patient with appropriate clinical risk factors. Other etiologies for this white matter disease cannot be excluded due to the patient's relatively young age.

The brain is made of grey and white matter. The white matter can show abnormalities in some people who have symptoms related to brain. These are seen as white matter areas showing altered signal intensities in the MRI scan. Your condition has been described as similar to decreased blood flow through small blood vessels in the brain and that is usually seen past middle age or in the elderly. Hence it has been suggested that other conditions be considered by the neurologist while treating your condition.
