Increased liver enzymes are 10 times , means you are suffering from Hepatitis.
You have to undergo ultrasonography and repeat Liver function tests after every 3 days. If the enzymes are so high , you should get admitted and be under a care of a Gastroenterologist.
Dear doctor do i need to do fasting before my sgot and sgpt test for my liver?
No there is no need to fast. I would advise you to avoid any alcohol for 24 hours before the test if you want to avoid any abnormalities due to the alcohol.
This is a routine blood test that can be done at any time of the day.
Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns
