I am 41 years old female, i had an utra sound of the pelvic and diagonised with bulky uterus measuring 104mm x 44mm, moderate posterior wall adenomyosis. the cervix is normal and had fluid in cal-de-sac. the doctor adviced me to have a surgery. what is your advice
I read carefully your query. You have a problem which is resolvable after surgery. It may be treated conservatively even you are in menopause but and in menopause need surgery treatment if adenomyosis is large, very symptomatic ,necrotic etc. Fluid in cul-de-sac is normal in many women during their menstrual cycles for example some liquid may be from a rupture of folicular cyst.
You are new so go to do surgery and every thing will be okay.
Wishing you all best.
