I had hysterectomy a full hysterectomy 2 years ago. Could i have thrush? I am 52
Hi and thanks for this query.
Thrush(candidosis) caused by candida albicans principally affects the vaginal. Hysterectomy doesn't make you any less likely to have this infection.
YES, you could have thrush.
It manifests as thick whitish odorless vaginal discharge and intense itching.
Get evaluated if you have abnormal symptoms by your OBGYN.
Thanks and wish you good health.
