What Causes Salty Taste In Mouth?

hello doctor,gud evening...i have been suffering from cough from last three weeks.in first week it was too much couch with slight blood in the morning,after taking cough syrup,medcines,now its reduced..but now i have feeling of saulty in mouth whenver i cough..why this is happening?

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..Dehydration, Medication side effects, Chemotherapy, Diseases of the salivary glands including infection, Sjogrens syndrome,Postnasal drainage from allergy or sinusitis (the salty mucus coats their taste buds, causing them a salty taste).Vitamin or mineral deficiency, Neurologic disorder including migraine, epilepsy, brain lesion, secondary to allergy and/or sinus problems. treatment consists of making an accurate diagnosis to the reason causing the change in the mucus and then formulating a targeted treatment plan to return the mucus to near-normal consistency.kindly consult ur ent specialist/neurologist,,hp it helps,,tc
