Could Extreme Joint Pain And Fatigue Be A Symptom Of Autoimmune Disease?

My wife is having extreme joint pain and fatigue. This has only been going on for the last 2 weeks. She has been diagnosed with Celiac over a year ago, so we are thinking it may be another Autoimmune disease, but we are waiting to hear back from her blood tests. She gets word tomorrow. Any ideas what this might be?
