I usually get increased heart beat and a feeling of anxiety when laying down or resting
You must be under stress and hence you are getting that palpitations I believe. But if you are not thinking anything while you sleep and there is a chest pain along with the anxiety then I'll advise you to go to a physician and get yourself examined

Hi ! I am Dr Shareef answering your query. I would suggest you to first get your blood sugar and blood pressure checked up and show the reports to the nearest family physician in your area. If both are ok, then you may have to go for some blood tests like your lipid profile, CBC and also a cardiac check up if advised by your family physician. Wishing you an early recovery.
