Is It Safe To Give Stodal Flu And Cough Syrup For My Daughter Who Is Having Fanconi Anemia ?

Good day doctor my child has fanconi anemia is it safe to give her stodal flu and cough syrup it si this time of the year and all of us are having this cold and flu, but it is difficult to give my little girl 4 years old something because of the fanconi anemia, can you suggest anything.

She may do steam inhalation for relief of the cough. If she is having fever she may need antipyretics. Cough syrup may be given. Get her blood tested for any abnormalities in blood count as this can indicate response to infection as well.
