About your stomach pain; As you have already undergone an endoscopy I presume that you have consulted a Gastroenterologist and completed other preliminary investigations like a Ultrasound scan of your abdomen and blood tests. Your treating specialist might have put you on some medication. If you are still having the pain and discomfort (after all the investigations have ruled out any other problem); you most probably have dyspepsia (commonly called acidity or gas trouble). IF you have already tried medication prescribed by your specialist and only obtained temporary relief, you should seriously make any effort to modify your lifestyle and diet. A few tips you can try are: 1) Stop smoking (if you do smoke) 2) Limit or give up alcohol(if you have the habit) 3) Restrict or eliminate oily and spicy foods from your diet 4) Avoid any junk foods, including aerated soft drinks. 5) Limit coffee/tea consumption 6) Do not use pain killers as they worsen the problem 7) Avoid heavy meals at night and keep a gap of at least 2-3 hours between your dinner and bed time 8) Make a regular routine for exercise for at least 30 minutes per day. 9) Drink plenty of water- at least 2 liters per day.
