What Are The Chances Of Diabetes In An Elderly Healthy Male?

I am 75 yo white male of 6 ft with 40 waist measurement at my belly button, weigh 92 kg, do regular exercise at my gym, have a fasting blood glucose level of 106 to 108 mg-l and a normal blood pressure regime of around 135 over 85, with no family history of diabetes ...what do you consider are my chances of diabetes

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir, The fasting blood sugar level you have mentioned is quiet normal value. The blood pressure you have mentioned is also normal to your age. You said you are regular at exercise. with these details. There is no scope for diabetes as of now.

The HbA1c blood sugar level which shows sugar range for past 2-3 months would be a better indicator to decide sugar control. But don't worry continue same active life style. As of now there is no scope of getting diabetes.
