Is There Any Side Effects For Tamoxifen?
my wife is on tamoxifen and was advised to keep taking it for a total of ten year, is this the normal length of time and what could be the long term side affects of taking this for such a long period of time. Could you provide some pros & cons please

Hello,
It is a anti estrogen medicine used for treatment and prevention of breast cancer.
Longterm side effects are fatty liver,cirrhosis and Acute liver injury.
One must Kerp a track of liver tunction tests on regular basis whenever on tamoxifen for longterm use.
