I have swollentonsils and enlargedtastebuds in the back of my tongue
Hi, you are having enlarged lingual papillae over the posterior aspect of tongue with hypertrophied tonsils.
If it's acute infection, then treat it Wight Pennicillin antibiotics+anti inflammatory medicines like paracetamol + diclofenac combination drugs twice daily for 5 days.if it's chronic infection causing enlarged papillae, then do not worry.
Enlargedtonsils can be surgically removed.
I have enlargedtastebuds on the back of my tongue, swollentonsils with white spots on them. throat is slightly sore, there don't seem to be any spots though.
Hello and welcome to health care magic,
The same can be found normally also and if you have any symptoms like throat pain or fever then you must get back to me or else just dont worry
hope this helps

Ive been having a soar throat for a month now, and my tastebuds are all inflamed, also one of my tonsils are swollen too, i got tested for mono and strep (neg)
If you have not taken any antibiotics, you should take one for a few days(i usually give azithromycin/amoxycillin+calvulonate to my patients, along with analgesics).
If you have already taken, try a different one.If multiple attempts failed, you pleas get it examined by an ENT surgeon. It may need intavenous antibiotics, some minor surgical procedures.use warm saline gargles .avoid cold drinks.
