What Is The Treatment For Pain Caused By Lump On Clavicle Bone?

Hi I am a 44 year old female. I have quite a large spongy lump on my right side of the base of my neck/Clavicle bone. It is not painful to touch but is causing alot of what i can best describe as internal pain. Its causing my neck to ache across my shoulder blade on my back and all the way down my back to the base. My doctor as sent off for me to have a non urgent ultrasound but i am really concerned.

Hi...ultrasound is the best way to know about the nature and origin of the lump....neck has so many vital and important structures, it may be arising from one of them...and without a scan it is very difficult to get to a diagnosis... it can be a lymph node or a cyst or a neuroma...cant say
