Avoid red meat completely. Eat plenty of salad with lots of fresh veggies in it and only use oil and vinegar as salad dressing, of course salt and pepper also. Stop eating eggs, use egg substitute if you want eggs for breakfast or egg whites only if baking. No more bacon for breakfast or at any point during the day. No more fast food of any kind, if you eat out and it takes less than 5min to get your food, you shouldn't be eating there. No more soda, water and unsweetened hot green tea or cranberry juice, orange juice,... all juice should be watered down. Replace milk with Soy Milk, do not buy "Silk" brand soy milk or whatever brand is most popular where you live, find a good 100% organic brand and preferably a "plain" flavor. Eat a variety of fruits and veggies every day. Brisk 30min walk every night. Water, water, water, water, drink lots of water, 2-3 liters a day of just water. I know this sounds like more of a diet plan but thats pretty much what lower your cholesterol requires, you activity level also helps a lot, the more calories your body burns daily the better it is at controling cholesterol.
