What Diet Should I Maintain Before Taking Glucose Test ?
Hi I am a 23 year old female and I recently took my glucose reading for my 3rd pregnancy . The results came back 138 but l don t know if it is because I ate late the night before, haven t been drinking too much water, or I am not just eating right. I am due for another follow up glucose reading soon and I am worried, should I do anything to prepare myself before taking the next lab work?

The sugar of 138 if it is done in fasting then it is slightly high (normal being 90-110).If it is a random sugar done it is fine.Please repeat the sugar after 1 week & do a proper fasting morning sugar & a post lunch sugar to get a better idea.With the report you can consult your doctor she will advise & do the needful for you.
