Can E.coli Cause Vaginal Infection?

Hi, I recently went to a clinic because I ve had recurring vaginal infections. I got a pap done months ago and they told me I had BV and a yeast infection. They gave me medication for both but the infection just came back and has kept coming back. When I went to the clinic a week ago they did a urine culture and told me I had E Coli that was extremely antibiotic resistant. I didn t have diarrhea or a UTI, just the vaginal infection. They gave me one intramuscular antibiotic shot that day. Now I m sick in bed with back pain and nausea and I ve been passing stools entirely made up of a yellowish mucus. I ve had symptoms like this before but never passed so much mucus as this. What should I do? Do I really have to get IV antibiotics or does E. coli go away on its own? Also, is what s happening to me because of the E. coli or is it something else?
