What are the treatments for acne and scars caused by acne?
I have been suffering from bacne recently and it has now spread to my entire back. I have also been having acne on face for almost 10 years now. Tried various treatments but nothing seemed to help. And now I m more worried because these bacne are leaving dark scars.

What is the best medicine for acne
Adult acne is more difficult to treat than teen acne as it is caused by hormonal imbalance and is more deep seated.Ruling out PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome(PCOS) is advisable,other underlying diseases like diabetes and hypothyroidism also need to be ruled out.Consultation with a Dermatologist will help,Minocycline,Adapalane gel ,Retinoid creams(derived from vitamin A)will help.

There is no specific treatment for acne. But I recommend you to use Tetraciclin 500 mg once a day for 6 months. This is systemic treatment. You also can use local treatment clindamycin lotion.
