High fever post DPT booster dose what should i do?
hi, my son got booster DPT at age 4 years and is running high grade fever upto 39.7 C five days post vaccine, He is other wise healthy, No neurological symptoms and fever responds to acetaminophen. What should I do now ?
my baby had his dpt this morning his thigh is swollen I put a cold cloth on it . is that ok?
after injection with dpt child can have rash, redness, swelling, fever and excessive cry.
there is no need to apply at injection site it will subside on its own.
if child feels comfortable with cold cloth that is ok to keep it.
if there is any fever, redness give paracetamol drops at dosage of 15 milligrams per kilogram can be given four times a day.
