Infant. Jaundice For 6 Weeks After Birth. Check Up In First Week Showed Normal Limits. Restless And Fussy When Lying Down. Suggest

What symptoms should I look for if my grandson was jaundice for up to 6 weeks after birth? My daughter was told that the bili forehead scan was within normal limits when they went for his 1 week check up. Could it have become dangerously higher later? He is breast fed and has seemed well hydrated.
He seems to want to be held constantly. When lying on back or abd. he becomes restless and fussy within minutes.

Hi,

if the child is active, takes breast well, sleeps well, than don't worry.

The bili may be high just because he is a breast feding infant.

It is recommended to breast fed the child as often as possible,

And don't worry.
