Stomach pain, burps, nausea, suggest indigestion and blackstools suggest some kind of bleeding in the upper GI tract like stomach or duodenum.
Your history is suggestive of ulcer.
An upper GI endoscopy is required to look for ulcer or some other lesion.
A biopsy from the GI mucosa can be taken for examination.
Consult a gastroenterologist for endoscopy & further workup.

Bleeding may be from upper or lower digestive tract.
