My hus band had an unsuccessful vasectomy reversal and developed a hydrocele. He has sincw had it repaired. Could that surgery have parially restored fertility?
Hello vasectomy is usually quite a definite intervention against fertility though even this is nit considered 100% sure shot contraception. I would suggest you visit the doctor which did the operation after looking at the current situation he can answer yiu questions better. I would say hydrocele shouldnt be related to fertility
how to treat hydrocele without operation
If hydrocele is small and causing pressure on testes then it may be left alone and it may get better on its own. If it is causing symptoms then surgery should be done.
does hydrocele cause erectile dysfunction?
Hi Nakorinaah .
In general, hydroceles should not affect erectile function. The hydrocele does not affect the function of the testicle and for this reason does not change hormonal function.
However, very large hydroceles can undoubtedly make sexual intercourse uncomfortable, and for this reason may lead to loss of an erection.
Post any other question.
Have a nice day. Regards.
