Is blood work enough to screen for cervical cancer?
Hi , I have an appointment to have full blood work done with a haematologist, to test for possibly everything, cancers etc. I am also due to visit my OB/GYN for PAP smear etc. What I want to know is it still necessary to visit my obgyn or will the bloodwork be enough to screen for cervical cancer...
Please concered me about cervical cancer
I am 25 years old with two children, when I was pregnant with my first son in 2005 I recieved a pap smear and it came back abnormal. After talking to my doctor he explained the process of a biopsy and I went through with it, but was terrified of the results I changed my doctor and didn t go back...
I was told that I had early cervical cancer when I was 16, i was suppose to go back to the Gyn but i didnt ....I'm 24 now , what's my condition?
Thanks for sharing your concern with healthcaremagic forum.
From the details you have mentioned, its clear that you were aware of early cervical cancer affected and you had ignored treatment.
Now,its already 8 months after the initial stage of cancer has occured.
You must visit an oncologist and get clinical evaluation as well as biopsy investigations done &TREATMENT has to be planned.tk
