Sticky smellystool for many years my medication are lipitor paxel livosa and ecotrin.
It's going to be more likely to be diet and lack of enough non-absorbed vegetable fiber is going to do that. Vegetables. Fiber. Fiber supplements.
BUT lipitor in theory lowers the amount of lubricating cholesterol in the stool. Colace is a substitute.
My 3months son passes green smellystools is that normal? he is breast n formula fed (Nan Pro1), otherwise an active kid. should i consider change of formula?
Green colour stool is due to side effect of Nan pro 1. Colour will slowly subside when he starts eating after 6 month of age. There is no need of changing the formula. Continue it.

My 2 month old baby has passed runny yelowish smellystool. he pass last stool 5 hours ago. His skin is dry since last few days.he is feeding well.is it normal
Diarrhea is very common in infants. If he has no fever, blood in stool, vomits than you don't need to worry.
In this case is very important to give him fluids to avoid dehydration due to diarrhea.
Give him oral rehydration solution several time a day.
If he has very frequent diarrhea, very dry skin,he urinates in very small amounts or don't urinate at all you should seek medical atention asap.
