Hi, my daughter had adenoidsremoved and now has an extremely runny nose and coughing is this normal or does it need to be treated??
Thanks for your query. If your daughter has been suffering from frequent attacks of cold, she apparently has chronic sinusitis; possibility of nasal allergy is strong. She requires anti-allergics , such as Monteleukast and anti-histaminics, such as, Ceterizine and frequent steam inhalation. Consult your ENT specialist, who will prescribe appropriate medicines.
How long after having my tonsils and adenoidsremoved can i start singing again? my surgery is tomorrow
Hello and welcome to HCM,
The tonsils and adenoids are placed away from the vocal cords.
After surgery on tonsils and adenoids time is required for healing of the tonsillar and adenoid bed.
Once they heal up, you can start with your normal activities.
You need to stay in touch with your surgeon for regular examination of the surgical sites.
Thanks and take care

good day Dr, my kids snors very much. what do I do please?
It is common for children to snore. It is usually due to enlarged tonsils or adenoids. If your son is otherwise well, there is no need to take action. The tonsils and adenoids will reduce over time and his snoring will improve.
