Diabetic, Blisters On Lower Legs And Feet With Liquid In Them, Itchy, Burning. What Could It Be?
My sister is diabetic she has some blisters on her lower legs and feet the blisters have some liquid in them are purple in color. she says they itch, and now her they burn. Her Dr.took a biopsy and says it was abnormal. He is sending her to a Dermotolagist. What could it be?

Hello,
It seems your sister is suffering from BULLOSIS DIABETICIORUM.
These blisters develop generally in lower legs with clear fluid in them.
Normally such blisters heal themselves in 4-5 weeks time.
If they burst or get infected,then antibiotic ointment or oral antibiotics may be required,otherwise no other treament is required.
You need to control your blood ugar well.
For diagnosis,do consult a dermatologist or a diabetologist.
