How Safe Is Carvedilol For High Blood Pressure?

what are the best high blood pressure meds ..the ones with safe side effect .my doctor just gave me carvedilol I am scare to take it.i also take enalapril 10mg ones a day.. I am 54 years old .5 feet7 180 pounds..i had side affects from other blood pressure meds ...

We can not say that particular medicine is best to control the blood pressure.As it depends on various other factors like range of blood pressur,age,presence of other comorbidities,etc etc.Your doctor will decide which medicine will suit depending on all factors.
So my suggestion is continue the medicine what your doctor has prescribed and if you come across any side effect then consult him so that he may think of other better options.
