Hi, Changing your diet will play an important part in controlling your symptoms of IBS. have regular meals and take your time when eating
avoid missing meals or leaving long gaps between eating
drink at least eight cups of fluid a day, particularly water and other non-caffeinated drinks such as herbal tea
restrict your tea and coffee intake to a maximum of three cups a day
lower the amount of alcohol and fizzy drinks you drink
reduce your intake of resistant starch
Is there a surgical procedure to fix IBS.
Very frankly speaking there is no surgical procedure which can fix the IBS problem.
Treatment involves modification of diet and knowing your triggers, lifestyle changes, mental relaxation exercises and meications.
Best help for ibs-d?
There are various full forms for IBS, but i suppose you are interested in inflammatory bowel syndrome. There is no specific therapy. Take a good diet and prevent spicy food. Take steroids as they are useful. Biofeedback therapy has some role in IBS.
Thanks and regards
