I have had a severe headache since last, a week ago, Thursday, that starts at the top of my forehead, covers my head like a baseball cap and then down my neck on both sides. I was diagnosed with strep throat on Saturday at an urgent care, and RXed amoxycillin. Saw my primary on Monday for headache who said fluid behind my eardrums. Sinus infection. No symptoms of a sinus infection. No stuffiness, runniness, nothing. Allegra was Rxed. Pounding, throbbing worst pain I've ever had, rarely get headaches. Allegra not working. Slight fever (I never have a little wobbly on my feet, sometimes a tad dizzy. Upon rising from sitting or getting off bed, headache was so throbbing I had to hold onto my head. Taking aspirin now, and claritin. Doing better.
am 72, a flight attendant for jetblue. Nurse friend just emailed me she had a spontaneous cerebrospinal leak. I had an MRI Monday for a follow up for a meningioma; it's stable..
