Hello Doctor My name is S Jain (male) 178 cm . I am located at Indore-India. My age is 29 years. Before 2 years I was a healthy person having 75 kg. I started loosing weight for unknown reason. I had exercised all test except blood sugar. . My sugar level first time diagnose was 450 PP. During the past 2 years I lost 22 KG and doctor says that weight loss is due to sugar. My diabetic is type 2 - I am taking insulin morning 16 point & evening 8 point & management of food. Due to this now my sugar level is 90 FF & 130 - 180 PP. Now what should I do ? I am worried. Please help me the best.

What are the current medications you are taking apart from Insulin? Is either of your parents, siblings are diabetic? if yes, are they on insulin or tablets?

hello mr jain, gud to learn yhat you are in indore, from where i did my graduation.
first of all let's be sure that you are having type2 diabetes.usually such ahuge amount of weight loss is not associated with t2dm.
read my article on how to diagnose type1 or type2 diabetes(for more details log on to www.totaldiabetescure.blogspot.com).
rule out other factors of weight loss like chronic diseases/tuberculosis etc.
you can consult dr.sanjay dubey(M.D) ,my noble friend and cllassmate at M.Y.H. HOSPITAL .thanks

Hi Mr Jain
Welcome to HCM
Read your prob, you have been suffering from diabeteas type 2. if you looose your weight do not worry, it helping you for living long life n controlling diabeteas. as your sugure is in normal limit so nothing to worry. its good to be underweight rather than overweight for DM n hypertensive patients.

Diabetologist Dr. Amit Rajput's  Response
In that case, adding appropriate tablets might stop the insulin or atleast reduce its dose (assuming its type2 diabetes). Let your doctor re-evaluate it again and take the decision.

Wish you all the best.
