Hi

I did not get what you mean exactly by upset tummy. Is it recurrent vomiting or loose stools?

Recurrent head aches in a child has to be assessed. The site, severity, duration of headaches, aggravating and relieving factors should be looked into. Family history of migraines should also be looked into. His vision has to be assessed. His blood pressure also should be checked.

If headache is associated with vomiting all the time, after which he is relieved of the head ache, it is likely to be migraine.

So it is better that he is seen and thoroughly examined by a doctor.

Hope my answer helps.
Best wishes.
