Welcome to healthcaremagic.
A mole can be cancerous,if it is widespreading in nature and associated with mitotic division as well as pigmentation.
Pain and inflammation may or may not occur.
A biopsy investigation of the lesion will help to aid a final diagnosis.
Direct clinical evaluation will not help to give a diagnosis.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to ask further concerns.TC
